Being Scottish I have a completely mad and offbeat sense of humor. My "wait until I get back into the office" comment should be read in that light.<br><br>I think that there is a much deeper matter to consider here. Many of our people work such long hours and so hard that their social and work life gets entangled. I know from my perspective that if I only did work at work my personal life would come apart. <br><br>I think there is also a different psychological explanation, techies really enjoy neat technology and there are many examples of folks buying the latest and best because it is fun rather than it delivers real business benefits.
