Just read your article and the lastest Yougetitback.com innovation is even better - contact backup and lock down of your phone if it is lost or stolen. Basically a small application sits on the background of the phone and is then activated if the device gets lost or stolen. It ensures that all the data on the phone is secure and cannot be accessed by anyone except you. It will also back up all of your contacts. You can also set perameters so the phone will lock down under certain circumstances such as the SIM card being taken out or X number of calls were made outside your contact list etc. They are currently doing a free trial for this service. Hi Martin,

I actually met the man who started You Get It Back (http://www.yougetitback.com), Frank Hannigan is a larger than life Irishman with a permanent smile and good attitude. As a decent honest bloke himself he genuinely believes that humans are honest and helpful by nature and will naturally do the right thing given half a chance. The You Get It Back business model is based on helping everyone to do the right thing. Like I said it is brilliant - go and buy some and help humanity to be a better place.

I had a cracker last week. I went to get £200 out of a cash machine outside tesco. While I was waiting for the cash, Deb (my wife) was giving me grief about something.. I took my card out of the machine and walked off with the continued ear ache but without the money. 15 minutes later, I was paying in Tesco and realised it had gone missing. I went outside for the off chance that my money would still be in the machine but resigned to the fact it had gone. When I got there, a young student said, "You lost some money?" and she had waited for me to return and gave it me back, saying that she would cry for weeks if it had happened to her. She wouldn't even take my offer of £50 for being so honest. Puts your faith back into human nature...
